The Lady ‘Cats picked up a lopsided win over the Notre Dame Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday afternoon.

In Varsity action, Erica Morgan had an intense match with Notre Dame’s Emily Young, but Morgan was able to get the win in a tiebreaker.

Varsity No. 1 Jessica Snider, after dropping close matches in her last few contests, was able to get a decisive 8-2 victory over Reagan Kapp.

On the JV squad, the doubles duo of Brannon Heaton/Mollie Whitehead got a big 6-0 win over Kayla Holland/Marissa New. Heaton was also able to get a 6-2 win in singles, while partner Whitehead lost a close match with Qinnan Ding, 4-6.

The Lady ‘Cats will be in action again Thursday afternoon, when they travel to Jackson to face off with the Lady Indians. The match is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start.
